We are back! Sorry for the slow down in posts...we have been buried under a pile of new stock and have only dug our way to the surface! While we were down there we found a beautiful new label called Secret Squirrel...

We are currently listening to.....

With music in the air this week thanks to the annual Blues n Roots festival at Byron Bay we thought we'd share with you some of our favourite bands we are listening to in the shop at the moment....

Local Brisbane band Drawn From Bees released their new single last week from their forthcoming album "Fear Not The Footsteps Of The Departed"......

We have had Justin Townes Earle on high rotation at the shop all month and Dee got to see him for the second time on the weekend...he's also playing on Wednesday night at The Zoo....

The highly catchy Kitty Daisy and Lewis played a few months ago and I missed them! Dee tells me they were amazing live and we'll definitely be there next time!

When we saw this photo on street style blog Jak & Jil late last year we absolutely had to find out who made those amazing bags! So perfect...a little bit tough but still so stylish...these bags don't slap you in the face, they quietly come over tug on your sleeve and ask you to follow them back to their place. How could we not want all of them!

The "Slash" bag will be available in Python/Classique (pictured) and Lizard/Sweatshirt...LOVE!

The "Clyde" bag will be available in Pop Red and Black...just the right amount of detail

There will be other styles and colours available but we aren't going to show you any more because we're mean! It's a surprise.

Miss Mouse hearts hats!

If you are looking for something fun and interesting to do with the kids over the easter break I highly recommend that you go and see "Hats an Anthology by Stephen Jones" at the Queensland Art Gallery. I went on the weekend with my mum (see kids and mums!) and it was fantastic! So many creative and amazing hats from different eras and designers...little sculptures for your head.

Best of all it's free and the kids can make their very own hats at the end!

The collection comes via the Victoria & Albert Museum in London....They even had the original Darth Vadar mask from Star Wars so you can take Mr Mum as well!

You crack me up!

Here are some closer shots of the beautiful "cracked" leather Angel Wings wedge ankle boot...they are available in Storm and as you can see from the previous post I have already stolen myself a pair! Hey a dentist gets free teeth cleaning am I right....

We have just received our new shipment from U.S designer Audrey Cantwell! The long awaited black buttery soft leather leggings are amazing...we only have four pairs and for $280 they flew out the door last year.
